New ‘RHONY’ Cast Member Is Already Bailing Over Social Media Hate

Not everyone can or wants to hack it on the Bravo reality show. Lizzy Savesky is one of them. He said goodbye before the show finished filming.

The matchmaker shared an intimate message with her fans that the decision is final and she will no longer be filming for the rest of the season. “I will not be going on Real Housewives of NYC,” she captioned, over a solemn black backdrop.

“As a proud orthodox Jewish woman, I thought taking part in this series would be a great opportunity to represent people like me and share my experiences,” she admits but is quickly proven wrong.

“Unfortunately, since my announcement in the cast, I have been receiving antisemitic attacks. As this continued, I realized that this path was no longer suitable for me and my family.”

He ended his message with, “I’m looking forward to the next chapter. Stay tuned and thanks for your support! All my love,” with a red heart emoji.

Lizzy Savetsky Speaks Out About Anti-Semitism

The new reality star or is it the former reality star since announcing his new show has used his platform to draw attention to all the anti-semitism going on, most notably he commented via video on Kanye West’s attacks on Jews.

She quickly received hate on posts that had nothing to do with the mother-of-three’s comments about the West and Anti-Semitism. “I continue to receive extremely hateful comments, even threatening to support his antisemitic message,” he wrote.

“My children’s great-grandmothers did not survive Auschwitz so we can sit quietly because people threaten our existence as a people. We need to speak up! I take this threat very seriously and you should too.”

Savetsky was also specifically slammed for his views “for being pro-Israel,” the source claimed Page Six.

Bravo Supports Lizzy Savetsky

When contacted, Bravo expressed 100% support for the proud orthodox Jewish woman and spoke with her Page Six about his decision to leave.

“After thoughtful consideration and discussion with Lizzy, we have come to the mutual conclusion that Lizzy will not be a cast member on ‘RHONY.’” Unfortunately, if fans like Savetsky now, we won’t get to see much more of him. Or will Bravo decide to cut his scene? After all, they are still in the middle of filming.

Lizzie’s Friends Slam Reality TV & Support Her

The comments are interesting, to say the least. Many chose to support Savetsky, which is good but, they seem to be throwing shade in Bravo’s way.

“When you announced you were going to the exhibition, I thought this was not a good thing..I know your intentions are good but this is a train wreck waiting to happen..Thank God you have moved on from this poisonous nonsense. Getting bigger and better ???,” wrote a friend.

Former RHONY cast member Leah McSweeney showed support with some red heart emojis.

“Wow! Sending you and your beautiful family love! So sad to hear you had to make this decision because of threats and not simply because you changed your mind for some other reason. It’s heartbreaking that we live in times like this.”

“I love you Lizzy, you are a star and a beautiful light and a representation of our people, you don’t need to be on that platform. You shine wherever you are xx love you,” another supported.

We Have Another Woman ‘RHONY’

It’s sad to see Lizzy forced out like that but she has to protect her family and her sanity. Reality TV is not for everyone. So far, assuming no one else drops out, we still have another woman.

Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield.

That’s six other women, enough to bring the drama that we housewives fans love to watch.
