Nia Long is slowly but surely getting over the cheating scandal that rocked her life and wants to thank her fans for being her community.
Nia Long Gets Her Life Together

The mother of one has been focusing on getting her mental strength back since news broke that her man Ime Udoka cheated on her with Celtics staffer Kathleen Nimmo Lynch. He sat with cut magazine and couldn’t avoid answering tough questions.
“I’m sure I’ll have to go back and forth with myself a few times to reconcile the situation, but one thing I try not to harbor is anger,” admitted Long. He’s been very outspoken about how ridiculous the Celtics are for sharing information when it can stay quiet, especially as it affects the son he shares with Ime, Kez, 11.
“My only focus right now is my youngest son because he is going through a difficult time,” he admitted. Long continued, “I’m sure I have some things I’m holding back, but I have to do that to take care of him first. That’s a gift. It’s natural.”
Nia Long Thanks for the Support.

Support from fans has “saved” Nia according to her. “It saved my mental well-being because I felt raised by a community in a way that felt like my family checked in and made sure I was OK,” she shared, “and that, I appreciate.”
Although Ime has publicly apologized for his indiscretion, he was suspended and eventually let go. “I apologize for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision,” he wrote in a statement to ESPN. “Out of respect for everyone involved, I will not comment further.”
Long was disgusted and “blindsided” by the news. He believes that Ime is only telling him because the news will be made public. He was equally made in Ime and Celtics.
“Nobody from the Celtics organization called to see if I was OK, to see if my kids were OK,” he said, calling out the basketball team’s manager. “It’s very frustrating.”

Nia felt like the announcement was unnecessary and ended up putting her and her son in the line of fire for embarrassment and tabloid fodder.
“The Celtics made the choice to go public with my family business, and I don’t understand why. Everything can be handled internally. I understand why, but I can’t talk about it. Maybe one day I will.”
He also got a little dig in saying, “You know, fear breeds stupidity, and I’ll leave it at that. I’ve learned that I’m stronger than I ever thought.”
Ime and Nia were together for 13 years before a bad breakup. This idiot has never put a ring on it but has tied it in an engagement for, honestly, who knows how long that engagement will last.
It might be too early to tell but this looks like a blessing in disguise. The legal paperwork to break up after being together for so long and the deception involved is quite annoying.
