Former One Direction member Niall Horan has taken it upon himself to replace a child’s cracked iPhone during a golf tournament he attended.

Horan reportedly dropped the child’s information after PGA pro Tyrell Hatton, who signed a contract with Modest! Golf Management hit the phone with his drive on the 13th hole.

The former boy band member has been working on new music with fellow artist Lewis Capaldi for his fans, but for some reason, the songs may never have caught on.

Horan was present for a golf tournament at Rivera in LA when pro golfer Tyrell Hatton, who is signed under Modest! Golf Management Company breaks a kid’s iPhone screen with its drive.

According to a tweet about the incident, Hatton asked the singer to take down the person’s information so they could replace the damaged phone.

Fans were shocked in the comments, wondering what Horan was doing at the game and why he had to take it upon himself to fix the kid’s phone.

A fan write, “ok yo, they just showed your tweet on ESPN+! And, Niall Horan the singer? Happen to be there and the only guy with a pen and paper? lol.”

Hatton, a renowned PGA professional, signed with golf management company Modest Golf in 2019, and Horan owns it, which is why he’s in the game in Rivera, LA.

When signing the contract with Horan’s management, Hatton said, per Irish Golfers“I am very pleased to sign a new management agreement with Modest Golf.”

He continued, “Since signing with the team in 2019, things really haven’t gotten any better. I have enjoyed every minute of working with the guys and I hope we can continue to enjoy success together through 2021 and beyond.”

Considering the 31-year-old’s success and accomplishments, it’s no wonder Horan is thrilled to be joining Modest Golf. “We’re very proud to put Tyrrell in the business,” the singer said at the time, per Irish Golfers.

“His golf over the last 18 months has been incredible. Not only to see him make it in America and win for the first time on the PGA Tour, but also to see him win a European Tour main event in a BMW was something very special. We are very happy and proud to be on that journey with him.”

Aside from his passion for golf, Horan has a great love for music. According to reports, he and fellow artist Lewis Capaldi have been in the studio together working on some new songs, but unfortunately, Horan may never release them.

Horan revealed this during a recent interview, saying that neither he nor Capaldi “adored” the track they worked on. Talk with Daily Starthe former 1D member said, per NME, “One night we went to the studio and wrote some songs. They are clearly not good enough as we will hear now.”

He continued, stating that “one of them actually deserves to be fair. But you can try a collaboration and until we both really adore it and spend more time in the studio, I don’t think there’s any point in releasing it.”
