Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty are being sued for $750,000 after she allegedly assaulted a security guard who was part of her team.

At the end of January 2022, Explosion reported that Petty and Nicki were sued for assaulting a bodyguard named Thomas Weidenmuller who lives in Germany. He has the rapper on the hook for battery and inflicting emotional distress.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Weidenmuller stated that he was working as the head of security for Nicki’s 2019 concert in Frankfurt, Germany. That was the show where a fan jumped on stage, overcame a bodyguard and Nicki didn’t like it.
The document said “concert-goers breached the security barriers separating the audience from the stage and were able to get on stage while Minaj was performing. In gaining access to the stage, concert-goers bypassed a female security guard stationed on the stairs leading to the stage.”
Newly filed court documents obtained by The Blast now put the dollar amount on damages at a staggering $753,958.51
Nicki Minaj Is Not Hurt

The security guard claimed in the original filing that Nicki was unharmed but ended up overreacting.
“The concertgoers did not cause harm to others, nor did they damage property during or after their limited time on stage. He just danced on stage to the music. He did not attempt, and in fact did not, make any physical contact with Minaj while on stage.”
The security guard claimed that after the show, Nicki, Kenneth, and some of his entourage confronted them. he was uncomfortable because the group was a “large” amount of people.
They recalled that Nicki and her crew “were furious during this confrontation and yelled at the female security guard that she was a bitch and accused her of putting Minaj in physical danger. During the confrontation, the female security guard cried and apologized to Minaj.”

Even though he apologized, Nicki was not satisfied and insisted on apologizing again but this time, she took out her phone to record him. He pushed security guards to “tell Minaj’s fans, via recording, that he failed to do his job and put Minaj in danger.”
Nicki then pulled on her shoe and “threw it” at the security guard, but missed. For Weidenmuller, the attack happened when he was called backstage by Petty who then approached him with two other bodyguards and he and Nicki proceeded to shout insults at him and accuse him of being in some sort of relationship with the female bodyguard, which he denied. .
“Without warning, Petty KICKS Weidenmuller from the side and makes contact with the right side [his] face.”

The security guard claimed that he spent ten long and painful days in the hospital after feeling extreme pain immediately after Petty fired the first shot. He stepped aside to escape but he was also confused.
“After two or three minutes, and under the belief that his jaw was broken, Weidenmuller turned the corner again, back to the location where Petty hit him.” The police were then called and an investigation was launched.
Here we are $750k later.
