The 40-year-old rapper opened up about body positivity, even admitting she recently had a breast reduction, and she loves it!
“I’m not in favor of body positivity if it means an unhealthy body. That’s a bull. It’s unbelievable, so let’s stop pretending,” he told the magazine. “Recently I had to get a breast reduction, and I actually like it.”
The “Anaconda” singer continued, “I used to want a bigger butt, and now I look back and realize how stupid that was. So — love your curves, and love your curves that aren’t curves. There’s nothing wrong with any of that.”
She then added how no matter what shape or color you are, you have to embrace yourself and your body, while at the same time admitting that it’s not easy, even for her.
“I just look at the video I posted on Instagram when I was 25, and I would pay to look like that now,” she told the magazine.

“I have a lot of time to think about myself,” the “Super Bass” singer later admitted. “The idea of accepting things you can’t change—it never clicked with me before. Now I understand.”
Minaj also explained how she knows many of her fans crave fame and fortune, but she wants them to “stay in school” because she is a “big believer in higher education.”

In July 2020, Nicki Minaj announced that she was pregnant with her first child. Her son later arrived on September 30, whom she publicly referred to as “Papa Bear”.
After her pregnancy, she admits she felt “in a rush” to get back into shape, and she wishes it wasn’t. She wants the body image pressure for new moms to go away.
To do so, she wants to shift her social media focus to connect with more moms. “There are questions you can’t just google,” Minaj told the magazine. “Every day a mom has to wake up and be a super mom no matter what they face.”
