Nihal Tauro was born on Monday, 21 February 2000 (age 21 years; in 2020) in the city of Moodabidri Mangalore, in Karnataka, India. His zodiac sign is Pisces. He attended school in Jenni, Tamil Nadu, and pursued a Bachelor of Commerce as his graduation course. He was inclined towards music since childhood and used to participate in various singing competitions in his school and college.

Nihal Tauro’s mother, Prisila Tauro is a housewife and father, Herald Tauro was a former choir leader but now works in a private bank. Music runs in the family genes. Nihal’s father was also very interested and aspired to be a singer but due to the family’s financial situation, he started working at a very young age to support the family.

Career
Nihal Tauro started his singing career in 2008 with the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Kannada Season 15 where he was one of the finalists of the show. The show gave him a lot of recognition and popularity. He has also won the title of Daijiworld Studio Voice and Voice of Udupi. After doing several singing performances he started performing in various stage shows. He has done many international shows in Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
In 2020, Nihal auditioned for Sony Entertainments singing reality show “Indian Idol 12” where he sang the song “Dil Sambhal Ja Zara” and impressed the judges Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, and Himesh Reshammiya with his voice. His selection for the show gained a lot of popularity.
Nihal has also worked as a playback singer for the Kannada industry and has lent his voice in songs for films like Premieres Padmini and Love Mocktail.
Apart from Kannada, Nihal has been a singer in Tulu and Konkani songs and music albums.
