Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley on Friday would not rule out pardoning Hunter Biden’s first child if he is convicted and elected to the White House.
Haley, 51, argued that it would not be “responsible” for her to make a determination about whether she would grant President Biden’s 53-year-old son a full legal pardon for his alleged crimes “even though we don’t know all the details.”
“I mean, I wouldn’t even think about that,” the former South Carolina governor told NBC News when asked about the possibility of pardoning Hunter Biden.
“I don’t know what they found him guilty of anymore,” he added. “I know that they have, you know, what we see in the Justice Department system, if anything, is that they don’t treat everybody fairly.”

Haley argued that the DOJ’s handling of cases involving the Biden family and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been “very different” from the way former President Donald Trump has been treated.
The White House hopeful has vowed to pardon Trump, 77, if he’s elected president, telling Iowa voters during a town hall on Thursday that it’s not “in the best interest of the country, and I don’t think our country is going to move forward with an 80-year-old President.” sit in jail.”
Hunter Biden was indicted last month on nine counts – including three felonies – in part for allegedly evading more than $1 million in taxes while living a hard-partying, “extravagant” life over a four-year period.

He faces a maximum sentence of 17 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
The scandal-scarred eldest son was charged separately in September with three felony counts related to the false statements he made when buying a firearm.
He faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison on the firearms charge.
Hunter Biden could also be held in contempt of Congress for defying a House Oversight and Judiciary Committee subpoena demanding he testify in an impeachment inquiry into the Biden family’s alleged corruption.
“I’m not going to discuss whether or not we pardon Hunter Biden,” Haley continued as she sat down with NBC News. “We wait and see what the charges are. But at this point you have to go and look at each case individually. And I don’t think it’s responsible to throw out whether you would do something like that to someone’s child when we don’t know all the details of the issue.”
DeSantis said he will never forgive Hunter Biden. Reuters
When asked the same question by NBC News, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appeared surprised.
“Why? “No!” DeSantis exclaimed.
The Florida governor argued that the DOJ’s prosecution of Hunter Biden and Trump “are not the same thing.” DeSantis also suggested that Trump’s pardon could help “move the country forward” and that he would consider it.
“You have the current administration impeaching the former president. That’s not the same thing as the Hunter Biden impeachment. Hunter Biden is not one of the leaders of the opposition political parties. So when you have that, it’s not healthy for the country to do that.”
“If [Hunter Biden] has nothing to do with the DC ruling class, he would have been impeached long ago. But that’s not an equivalent thing in terms of, like, Ford and Nixon and then, compared to some of the things we’re seeing with Donald Trump,” he added.
