GOP presidential hopeful Nikki Haley will champion parents’ rights as she lays out her education vision this week in New Hampshire with groups opposing changing gender identities in the classroom.
Haley, the only Republican woman — and a mother — in the 2024 contest, will team up with Moms for Liberty for a town hall event Wednesday in Manchester, whose public school system has been mired in litigation over allegations it has failed to tell parents about gender. their children change.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a left-leaning civil rights organization, designated Moms For Liberty a “hate group” because of its stance on LGBTQ issues and opposition to repressive COVID-19 policies, among other concerns.

Haley previously spoke at a summit hosted by Moms For Liberty in Pennsylvania in June.
Other GOP dignitaries such as former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, multi-billionaire biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson also attended the Pennsylvania summit.

Haley has long been an advocate for transparency in education.
“There is only one mother running for president, and Nikki will do anything to fight for our children’s future,” Ken Farnaso, Haley’s spokesman, told The Post.
“That’s why she teamed up with Moms for Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice in New Hampshire this week to call for parents to take back responsibility and make sure teachers educate — not indoctrinate.”
