According to The Blast’s latest report on Swift’s latest career achievement, Swift’s upcoming film will be released through Searchlight Pictures.
The company’s two presidents David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield described working with Swift as “A genuine joy and privilege to work with [her] as he embarks on this exciting and new creative journey,” via a statement (per The Hollywood Reporter). The duo also described Swift as “A once-in-a-generation artist and storyteller.”
The birthday lady previously expressed her desire to step into the director’s chair during an “Event in conversation” during the Toronto Film Festival in September.
Swift revealed her interest in films centered on “human emotion” over action films.
“I will always want to tell human stories about human emotions,” he said during the event, citing several female directors, including Nora Ephron, as inspiration.
When discussing the idea of jumping into the director’s chair, Swift explained, “If it’s the right thing, it would be a privilege and an honor.”

Almost immediately after ticket pre-sales began, fans began experiencing a surprising amount of difficulty getting tickets after Ticketmaster began experiencing technical issues that resulted in crashes. Ticketmaster is currently facing a lawsuit filed by fans for the cancellation of the scheduled on-sale day.
According to our report on the situation, fans claimed Ticketmaster was “abusive[ed] their services,” and claimed the company colluded “with scalpers for their own profit.”
A little over a month after ticket sales first went on sale, Ticketmaster is now giving Swifties another chance to score tickets for the ‘Eras’ tour! Yesterday, the company announced a “limited opportunity” for fans to “purchase up to two tickets each,” according to NBC News. The outlet also reported that the opportunity was made at the request of Swift’s team.
