Migos are obviously going through a tough time right now. One of their group members was shot dead allegedly over a dice game. Offset acknowledged his cousin’s passing by changing his display photos on Twitter and Instagram to a smiling Takeoff photo.
The rapper didn’t immediately send a tribute to his fallen soldier, even though Departed had been dead for less than 48 hours, barely giving him the time to process something so final that had just happened. Anyway, the trolls are up in arms. This prompted Offset’s fans and collaborators to speak out about the rapper’s lack of recognition.

One of the rumors swirling around the band members is that the two, Offset and Takeoff, are not on speaking terms. The rumor started when the group broke up to work on solo projects. fans saw the short break as a done deal.
A fan who knows him made it clear that “Offset and takeoff had a good relationship before he passed in case someone tried to run a different narrative today.”
“It’s crazy how people get mad that #CardiB and #Offset don’t make old world statements as comments. Are you all insulting me! How many of you are going to take to social media to make a statement to your family instead of soaking in what happened to you all,” said one fan.
Another fan echoed the sentiment. “Because #offset, #CardiB, #Quavo keep repeating in this conversation: the stark fact is that neither owes any of us a statement at this exact moment. They are in pain. They are mourning. They don’t need an iPhone or a laptop to meet any of us first.”

In addition to fans slamming Offset and Cardi B, they attacked Quavo for not talking about the incident especially seeing as he was there. However, the rapper’s latest posts all involve his niece.
A post was added the night they came out. The photo featured them in matching camo gear and it was captioned; “True Soldier Or Super Villain”. Since then family and friends have been showing love to Quavo in the comments section.
DJ Steve Aoki wrote, “My brother, I am sending you all my love and positive energy through this time. I am so sorry for your loss quavo. All my love my brother.” Another encouraged the rapper to take care of himself.
“I hope someone is looking out for you and you’re supported because it’s a traumatic thing to see a family member go like that. Condolences to you and the wrong nun with some therapy and a long time.”
