American rapper Offset continues to mourn the loss of his beloved cousin, Takeoff, who tragically lost his life in November after an early morning shooting in Houston at a bowling alley.
The late rapper was with fellow Migos member Quavo, who is also his uncle. According to reports, Takeoff and Quavo were at a bowling alley playing dice when an argument broke out, resulting in a shooting and the young rapper losing his life.
In memory of the late rapper, Offset recently revealed what he continues to miss about his beloved cousin.

The “Open It Up” rapper seems to still be struggling following the Takeoff loss. Although he has publicly mourned the painful loss before and even changed his Instagram profile picture to a photo of Takeoff, he continues to remember the late rapper.
Taking to his Instagram early this morning, the “Deadz” rapper shared a picture of Takeoff and wrote a simple yet clear message.
The “Last Memory” rapper was seen wearing a custom light blue jacket that featured a quilted style belt with square buckles attached to each shoulder of the jacket. Underneath the jacket, she donned a multicolored printed t-shirt and accessorized her outfit with a sparkling diamond and gold necklace and a pair of dark shades.
The late rapper wore her hair in a big, long braid and smiled cutely as she was photographed. Commenting on the smile, Takeoff captioned the post, writing, “Miss everything about you especially that smile”.
Offset’s post instantly garnered over a million likes from his followers around the world. His supporters also took to the comments section to encourage the “Stir Fry” rapper. With one writing, “Lord God please give me comfort.. ? Amen.”
He took to his Instagram story to post a picture of the three Migos members, all dressed up, as they appeared to be at an event. In the picture, the late rapper sits in the middle while two others stand by his side. The photo of the three of them, which Offset uploaded to his story, somehow symbolizes their strength and togetherness as a group.
“Smooth” Rapper In Previous Post Expresses His Disappointment Over Losing Takeoff
At the time the unfortunate incident occurred, it was a bitter pill for Offset to swallow, and he publicly mourned the devastating loss.
According to The Blast, the father of five took to Instagram to send a long, heartbreaking message just days after Berlepas was laid to rest. He began by writing,
“Dear Take, The pain you left me is unbearable. My heart is broken, and I have so much to say, but I can’t find the words. I would go to sleep and wake up hoping that this was all a dream, but it was reality, and reality felt like a nightmare.”
The “Straightenin” rapper continued his trip down memory lane, he wrote, “Every time you see me, you don’t give me a dap, you give me a hug. I wish I could hug you one last time. Laugh for the last time, Smoke for the last time. Do it for the last time.”
As he continued his message, he became hopeful and declared that he knew the late rapper was in heaven, watching over them. While adding, “We love you and miss you. You have left a hole in my heart that will never be filled.”
He concluded his message by asking Takeoff to give him and his family the strength to carry on and deal with the loss. “I love you forever, 4L and beyond. ?❤,” he wrote.

Offset’s wife, Cardi B, also had nothing but nice things to say about Departed and the life he’s leading. Rapper “Up”, like her husband, is also processing the tragic death of rapper “Casper”.
As we previously reported, fans were informed that the “WAP” rapper, and Takeoff, shared a close relationship before his death following a touching message he posted on Instagram.
He began by expressing his grief, writing, “Departing, your untimely passing has brought so much pain and sorrow to so many lives. The impact you had on the world was enormous, and we have struggled to come to terms with this tragedy.”
He went on to reveal how the remaining Migos crew is having a hard time coping with his loss and prayed that the late rapper would give his cousins and uncles the fortitude to bear the loss. The Grammy winner went on to praise the “Messy” rapper and appreciate the music he shares with the world while also praising the rapper for his beautiful personality.
