Elena Arenas Gets Title
In her senior year with the Tigers, Arenas contributed to their fourth-place finish in last year’s National Championships, earning the nickname “Queen of the Beam” from her loyal fans in her home state of Georgia.
With a heavy social media presence, she regularly engages her online followers, often showing off a TikTok locker room dance with her best friend, Olivia Dunne, ahead of games like Friday’s anticipated clash with Kentucky.

Showing off his athletic figure in an LSU leotard before the meet, the 22-year-old celebrated the Tigers’ win with a season-high 198.125, captioning the photo with “How about them Tigers?”
Enthusiastic fans responded with messages like “Tiger forever! Go LSU” and “You look amazing.”
A third admirer chimed in, saying, “Out of the tigers, you’re my favorite Tiger….” and the fourth praised, “Beautiful Lenny.”
Currently dating MLB pitcher Garrett Edwards, who went to the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2023 Draft, Arenas received an appreciative comment from her lover, who exclaimed, “My girl!”
Impressive Performance
The Tigers’ winning performance on Friday was led by Haleigh Bryant, now the 10 all-time leader in school history. LSU head coach Jay Clark expressed his satisfaction, stating, “We need it. It’s good to know we have options. We’ve told the team all along that we want to be able to mix things up and be able to get a few different looks to see what really looks best in the end. Overall, we’re just proud of them, Kentucky is a great team, a lot of credit goes to them. This is a tough place for people to compete.”
Arenas comes from a gymnastic lineage, as his mother, Kim, was an accomplished athlete who earned two consecutive NCAA national titles during her career. Following in her mother’s footsteps, she competed for Team USA in the American Classic in 2017, where she took first place in the All-Around competition. The Arenas family legacy in gymnastics continues with the impressive accomplishments of LSU athletes.

LSU hailed Arenas as an “outstanding gymnast” who achieved a personal best on the SEC vault with a score of 9.5. Notably, she has achieved career highs of 9.95 on vault, 9.875 on floor, and 9.825 on beam, showcasing her exceptional skills in multiple gymnastics disciplines.
In 2021, Arenas demonstrated his commitment by participating in every vault competition for the Tigers. Her outstanding performance included a win at the SEC Championships, achieving a perfect score of 9.95 on her Yurchenko Full. Throughout the postseason, she maintained a high standard with scores of 9.825 in the NCAA Regional Second Round, 9.875 in the NCAA Regional Final, and 9.8125 in the NCAA Semifinal II. His consistency was also evident in the regular season, finishing with an impressive vault score of 9.875.
