Olivia Munn is having a hard time watching her son mature and become more independent as the days go by!
The mother of one who regularly updates her fans on her motherhood journey via social media recently revealed how her son Malcolm, who was welcomed with partner John Mulaney, continues to learn new things.
Munn shared the news on her Instagram page, and while it’s something to be proud of as a parent, the mama bear seems to have mixed feelings about the exciting development.

The “Ride Along 2” actress seems to be taking her mother role seriously and isn’t ready to stop doing it! She reveals that her son, Malcolm, handles things like a pro at home without her help.
Taking to her Instagram account, Munn shared a short clip featuring her one-year-old son going about his business in their cozy home. The cute little one wears a unisex “Burt’s Bees” baby nightie in the video and manages to open the off-white painted door.
After opening the door slightly, Malcolm realized he was being filmed by his parents and crawled back to meet them. Her famous dad Mulaney captioned the video, exclaiming, “You opened it,” while a less-than-enthusiastic Munn captioned the clip, writing, “He’s opening the door now??? Plus, oh no… I didn’t ready! Aggghh”!
His followers, mesmerized by the simple act, rushed to his comment section to throw in their two cents. Starting with his partner Mulaney, who joked, “I had to teach him to tap first.”
One fan referenced the legendary movie, writing, “Remember in ‘Jurassic Park,’ when the raptor could open the door? I just remembered that, for some reason #lifefindsaway ?”

While the mama bear is enjoying being a mother to her baby boy, she’s also faced challenges along the way, just like any other parent out there.
According to The Blast, the “X-Men: Apocalypse” actress showed fans her realistic routine as a mother of a young child and posted several short clips on her Instagram Stories, revealing the difficulties her son has faced since he started teething.
In one of the videos, the family stayed up all night in their living room as Mulaney held her son in her lap. The stand-up comedian looked cozy in a dark brown t-shirt and black sweatpants while their son sported a large, sky blue animal print blanket.
The doting father read children’s playbooks aloud to Malcolm and prevented him from focusing on the discomfort he was experiencing from teething.
Munn, who did not appear in the video, may have been the cameraman behind the video, capturing the precious moment.
Explaining to fans why they were awake at that time, she wrote in her caption, “We were woken up by Malcolm screaming…” and added the time, “12:14 AM.”
In the following clip, which features a father-son pair still reading the playbook, Munn elaborates further, writing, “He’s teething again…”

Before the teething disaster, Munn and Mulaney made their son’s birthday celebrations a year special filled with love and lots of cake.
As reported, the proud mama shared heartwarming moments with her fans by posting a carousel of photos on Instagram.
In the photo, Malcolm is sitting on his father’s lap wearing a white shirt and gray shorts, and on his head is a brown crocheted crown with a “1′ on it. The “Saturday Night Live” writer twinned with her son and wore similar outfits.
