The influencer rose to fame for embracing her body and proving to social media trolls that you don’t have to be skinny to have fashion sense and really suit flattering clothes for larger body types.
The 27-year-old has seen the conversation around Ozempic and visited the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast to discuss how the drug entered his life and what it has taught his stylish followers.
Full disclosure, Remi is not impressed by the number of celebrities who allegedly use drugs to stay thin and even though she no longer uses drugs, it has had a surprisingly lasting effect on her.

The drug became a necessity for the creator after his doctor informed him that he was pre-diabetic, still gaining weight, and insulin resistant, because, he said, he had “real health problems.”
The drug, approved by the FDA and taken by injection in the stomach or arm, was initially made for people fighting Type II diabetes. It stimulates the production of insulin and turns off brain receptors that constantly disturb a person who overeats like Remi to overeat.
Unfortunately, for Remi, the drug was not something he was willing to stick with long-term simply because he saw some red flags in him that the drug had triggered.

The drug, initially for Remi, had just been approved by the FDA and he was told but a doctor, “They said I need this,” he recalled of the conversation. “And I have a lot of mixed feelings.”
Finally, Remi decided to try it and it was a ‘no’ for him, and giving up drugs is difficult for a positive influence on the body. “A few months later I left him and got into a bad party.”
It was bad enough for him to seek advice from a medical doctor. The document describes it about Ozempic. The drug was the cause of his partying. “I went to the doctor and they were like, it’s 100% because I’m on Ozempic,” she told host Amanda Hirsch.
Bader explained further. “It made me think I wasn’t hungry for so long, I lost some weight. I don’t want to obsess over it in the long run. I guess, I bet by the time I get off I’ll be starving again. I did, and my eating got worse. So I kind of blame Ozempic.”

After all that, Bader admits, he regained all the weight he’d lost. In fact, he “doubled his weight again” and finally, he believed that the drug could only be used by diabetics after his experience.
Just because Remi left the drug in his past doesn’t mean all alleged drug users or diabetics have given up. Ozempic is “currently in short supply” according to the FDA website.
