Palestinian woman whom liberal media compared to Rosa Parks is accused of threatening to drink Jews’ blood and eat their skulls

A Palestinian hailed as a “hero” and compared to Rosa Parks by the liberal media after he attacked an Israel Defense Forces soldier in Nabi Selah, a village in the West Bank, was arrested Monday by the IDF for allegedly inciting violence and calling for drinking Jewish blood.

“The IDF has carried out a large number of counter-terrorism activities since October 7 and has arrested hundreds of suspects. Overnight, the IDF carried out activities to arrest individuals suspected of being involved in terrorist activities and sedition,” the IDF said. “In that activity, Ahed Tamimi, who is suspected of inciting terrorism and calling for terrorist activities to be carried out, was successfully arrested in the town of Nabi Saleh. Tamimi has been transferred to Israeli security forces for further questioning.”

Tamimi’s arrest was related to alleged social media posts from his social media account, which called on Palestinians to drink Jewish blood and eat their skulls.

“Our message to the settler groups, we are waiting for you in all the West Bank cities from Hebron to Jenin – we will slaughter you and you will say what Hitler did to you was a joke, we will drink your blood, and eat. your skull, come on, we’re waiting for you,” the photo, posted to IG Stories, allegedly said.

Tamimi’s mother first denied that the post was from her daughter’s official account, and later said the account was hacked.

It added that “Tamimi’s attack on an IDF soldier prompted renewed international attention on Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, and on the Palestinian cause in general.”

The New York Times called Tamimi a “symbol of resistance against the Israeli occupation” in 2018 when the attack took place. Before that, he was featured in Times magazine in a collection dubbed “The Resisters.”

MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan ran a segment on Tamimi in 2022, calling him a “Palestinian hero.”

MSNBC described Tamimi as “a symbol of resistance, helping to shine a new light on the plight of Palestinians living in the Occupied Territories.”

CNN editor Nadeem Muaddi raved about Tamimi’s book, “They Called Me a Lioness,” and described Tamimi as a “national hero” and a “fearless teenager” after she slapped and attacked an IDF soldier.

“It is not the first time that Tamimi has faced off against an armed soldier, nor is it the first time that such an encounter has been captured on film. But the image of a fearless teenager, with curly blonde hair and a pink shirt, slapping a heavily armed soldier sparked interest and debate around the world,” the CNN article said.

Tamimi’s rise to liberal media prominence was not without its red flags.

The Times reported that Tamimi once “declared, ‘Our strength is in our stones,’ and appeared to condone, or justify, stabbings, suicide bombings and other violence.”

In addition, his family is known to the IDF.

His cousin, Ahlam al-Tamimi, was involved in the 2001 Sbarro pizza bombing, which killed more than a dozen people, including two Americans.

Fox News Digital reached out to the outlet but did not immediately receive a response.

Human rights groups, such as Amnesty International, also jumped to Tamimi’s defense for attacking an IDF soldier by calling for his release from prison.

“Amnesty International campaigned for the release of Ahed Tamimi in 2018 following her wrongful imprisonment at the age of 16 after an online video, showing her pushing, slapping and kicking two Israeli soldiers in her hometown of Nabi Saleh in December 2017, went viral. . He was released in 2018 after serving eight months over seven months in prison. The Amnesty campaign ended after his release,” the statement said. “When Amnesty International campaigns for an individual it is not an endorsement of their views, past or present, it is based on whether or not their human rights have been violated and the urgent need for action to address this.
