Pat McAfee has apologized for his involvement in fueling the feud between Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Kimmel.
The upgrade comes as Kimmel hinted at the possibility of taking Rodgers to court over claims made on McAfee’s eponymous show on Tuesday, suggesting Kimmel’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein’s list of associates will be released this month.

McAfee kicked off Wednesday’s episode of “The Pat McAfee Show” by addressing his role in the Rodgers-Kimmel feud. He explained that after the Rose Bowl game, he and his team operated on minimal sleep leading up to Tuesday’s show.
He admits that while the independent nature of the show is a defining feature, things may have gone too far this time. In his words:
“There’s probably some things that are definitely, maybe – I mean, we’ll have to hear from Aaron on that – meant to be banter that can then turn into something that’s obviously a very serious allegation, which then leads to a big overnight story. “

McAfee expressed discomfort at being associated with “any negative thing ever” and emphasized his team’s common goal of an “uplifting” and fun show. In his words:
“We want our show to be a happy, happy, fun show, but it’s because we’re talking s— and trying to make fun of everything. Some things obviously people get very angry, especially when they are serious allegations.”
The ESPN host added, “So we apologize for being a part of it. I can’t wait to hear what Aaron has to say about it. Hopefully the two of them will be able to work this out, you know, not work wise, but be able to talk and move together.
After expressing sympathy for both men, noting Rodgers’ frequent presence and Kimmel’s high-profile position at Disney, McAfee revealed that he understood why Kimmel was upset given his position.
However, he also acknowledged Rodgers’ perspective, stating, “I don’t think he meant anything else, but he has to explain it to us.” He then mentioned that his next show would feature NFL star JJ Watt and jokingly added, “I’m not sure there’s going to be any lawsuits threatened with that coming today.”

The development has the potential to reveal a mysterious figure linked to the notorious sex offender’s legacy, with more than 150 names scheduled to be revealed at the start of the new year.
It should be noted that Preska’s decision to allow disclosure carries a condition: certain names will be sealed or redacted to protect the privacy of an alleged minor victim of sexual abuse who has not spoken publicly.

“Meanwhile, Mr. Lang has started a course to cooperate fully with the federal authorities investigating this case. He, like them and like the victims, just wants justice done,” Lustberd claimed at the time.
