Paul Grant, a well-known performer, died on March 20, 2023, at the age of 56. His mortality reason has not yet been disclosed. Grant was discovered by police on March 16 at King’s Cross after collapsing. He was taken to the hospital right away, but he was subsequently pronounced brain dead. His family ultimately chose to remove his life support equipment, which they revealed on March 19.
Grant’s daughter Sophie told The Sun that she was heartbroken to hear the news and called her father as an icon. She went on to say that he made everyone grin and giggle and that he was an Arsenal supporter. Sophie also mentioned:
“I’m devastated… No child deserves to have their father snatched away… He was well-known and well-liked. He left us far too soon.”

Maria, Grant’s partner, also voiced her sorrow, stating that Paul was the joy of her life and the greatest guy she had ever met. She went on to say:
“He completed my existence. Life will never be the same without him.”
Paul Grant rose to prominence as a result of his roles in two well-known pictures.
Paul Grant was best recognized for his role as Ewok in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, which was published in 1983. He then portrayed a demon in the first Harry Potter picture, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, which was published in 2001. Grant featured in a few other films, including Labyrinth and The Dead, and was an action double in Ridley Scott’s 1985 picture, Legend. He also performed stunts in another picture, Willow. Grant has been outspoken about his addiction to alcohol, narcotics, and women since his divorce from Janet Crowson.
He was 47 years old when he disclosed to The Sunday Mirror that Janet had deceived on him numerous times. He went on to say that after their marriage ended, he required assistance because he had acquired an addiction to drugs, alcohol, and smoking.
One of his acquaintances also spoke to The Sun after his passing, saying:
“He was a nice chap. He was a gifted performer who struggled with substance and drink abuse. He referred to himself as the “King of the Dwarfs.” It’s heartbreaking.”
Paul Grant told the Sunday Mirror in 2014 that he had a family but had lost everything after his marriage and divorce. After his split, he resided on the streets, selling his vehicle to buy booze and narcotics. A lady called Chloe McCarthy and her partner finally took him in. Paul used to consume any narcotics that were available to him, according to Chloe. His drug problems also had an impact on his playing career, as he was no longer being hired in other parts at the time.
