At 1:30pm on Thursday, the Royal Family released a statement on social media to announce that he had died. The statement read: “The Queen passed away peacefully at Balmoral this evening. The King and Queen will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”
Many celebrities have taken to social media to mourn her passing, including the first Central European Sports Illustrated cover model, Paulina Porizkova.

In a candid Instagram post shared on Friday morning, the 57-year-old model penned a touching tribute to the late king.

“He is the ultimate celebrity – someone who is ‘known’ by the whole world, but who is really known by very few,” he continued.

He judged me with his great power and sent me away.”
