Model Paulina Porizkova has never been shy about being transparent about her appearance with her followers.
The 58-year-old Czech-born model recently took to Instagram to share a video featuring her with a full face of make-up. In the caption, she’s transparent about the work she’s done and the things she’ll never touch on her path to “self-acceptance.”

In the caption of her latest Instagram post, Paulina shared a photo of her “58-year-old face without fillers, Botox or surgery in bright light with beautiful professional makeup,” which she credits to makeup artist Ivana Tokarska. Later in the video, she shares her face without any makeup.
“I’ve used lasers (ultherapy and Morpheus) and used SPF religiously since my early twenties,” she explains. “I’ve chosen not to put anything ‘into’ my face – but even with the most amazing creams and lasers that promise to restore some collagen- I’m getting older.”
“Some days, I like it. I think my face has gained character even though it has lost its youthful beauty. And it seems like a fair trade-off,” he continued. “Other days, (and this is mostly only if I’m doing a photoshoot), I have to swallow some self-acceptance. I have changed. Fortunately, this change also means becoming smarter. And more daring. So I continued to sip self-acceptance.”
“I’m not going to skip over the obvious- that there is a love in my life who finds me beautiful, and tells me so with words and actions every day- and this is really all I NEED to hear – But! I was on the same path before meeting him,” he said. “I want to be able to accept myself as I am. And need to know that those who love me – love me for the truth of who I am and not who I pretend to be or who I hope to be.”
“Outside, I have changed. I was told by the community – worse. Inside, I too have changed. I was told by those who matter- for the better. When I close my eyes, I have never felt so desirable or beautiful,” she added. “When I opened it, the world was never as beautiful as it is now. So another sip of self-acceptance. Maybe, one day I can look and see myself as I see others.”

The “Anna” actress has gained a huge following on Instagram for her candid posts about aging in the public eye and this is no exception. “Audrey Hepburn didn’t have any work done and she was beautiful. It’s nice to see someone age naturally. We all feel so much pressure to look young,” commented one fan. Paulina replied, “Actually, she had ‘work done’ in her fifties. Interesting facelift. No one, no matter how genetically blessed with that firm jaw gets past 55. Zero judgment here- I might do the same one day.”
“Please don’t come at me, but I believe you look younger without makeup. I know it’s not the goal to ‘look younger,’ but I guess after a certain age, we definitely don’t want to look older than we are,” wrote another follower. Paulina replied, “I think makeup can age — but this is what I look like.”
