On Tuesday night, the “No Filter: The Good, The Bad, and The Beautiful” author took to Instagram to share a stunning photo of herself wearing nothing but gold heels to illustrate her “secret beauty.”

In her latest Instagram post, the 57-year-old fashion model posed in front of her front door without wearing gold heels. She looked down at herself holding the shimmering green dress, hiding her bare body behind the shimmering fabric as she thrust her hips to one side.
In the caption, she wrote, “Secret Beauty. When you’re considered ‘beautiful’ by society’s standards, your outward-facing shell is celebrated. You’re privileged enough to age out of it. That kind of beauty is shiny and flashy, like a sequined gown. It and -immediately attracts attention. But, it’s uncomfortable, plus, the sequins will rub and eventually fall off.”

“Secret beauty works differently. It’s a dress made of quality fabric and meticulous stitching, and will last forever. We are all those clothes, carefully constructed and unique,” he continued. “This is what most call inner beauty, or inner light.”
“But what struck me was that when you look at it, it really lights up people on the outside as well,” he explains. “Characteristics that are unique and perhaps mathematically incorrect suddenly become beautiful. It’s like you’ve found a treasure in a thrift store; it has been waiting there for only those who have the patience and willingness to see. To really see.”
