Pawan Sehrawat started his Kabaddi journey at a young age, making his mark in the district and state leagues. His prowess caught the attention of coach Randhir Singh during the Northern Railway trials, giving him the post of Head TE with Indian Railways. This role allowed him to compete at the national level as a defender. Later, he switched to the Pro Kabaddi league in 2016, playing as an attacker, with his debut season starting in the third year of the league.

Impressed by his outstanding performances in the Senior National Kabaddi Championship and the Federation Cup, the Bengaluru Bulls team decided to pick Pawan during the third season of the Pro Kabaddi League. In his debut season, he managed to collect 45 raid points and 8 tackle points in 13 games. In the following seasons, Pawan showcased his talents with Gujarat Fortune Giants and Tamil Thalivas, scoring notable raids and tackles. He got the prestigious title of the best striker in the 6th, 7th and 8th seasons. In the ninth season, he was drafted by Tamil Thalaivas for 2.26 crore, making him the most expensive player in the history of the league.

Blocked by his coach
Bengaluru Bulls head coach Randhir Sehrawat revealed that he blocked former franchise captain Pawan Sehrawat on his social media. Pawan left the Bulls and joined the Tamil Thalaivas but unfortunately, suffered an injury in the first match of the tournament itself. Randhir says that he blocked almost everyone during the league but he unblocked Pawan and talked to him. The Bengaluru Bulls coach added that it would be better for the league if Pawan recovers from his injury soon.
“But I unblocked Pawan and asked about his health. Then we chat privately. I think it would be good for the league if he comes back soon. He has a huge fan following here in Bengaluru as well. You will see he has a lot of fans behind him when he comes to play. It will benefit the league if the number one striker of the last three seasons plays,” continued Randhir.
