“Dancing With The Stars” pros Peta Murgatroyd & Maksim Chmerkovskiy share an inside joke about more babies fresh out of the delivery room.
Besides incorporating their love of dance in sweet family videos, the professional dancers, now parents to two adorable sons, Shai and Rio, love to share funny clips on Instagram every now and then. In the couple’s latest joint post, they poked fun at Chmerkovskiy’s request for more babies just days after Murgatroyd expanded their family with the birth of their second child.

As always, Reel’s video posted on Thursday shows the parents of two keeping busy together while revealing a funny insight into their current situation. The clip, tagged “My husband right after I gave birth,” on screen, sees the doting husband moving his lips silently in sync with the pre-recorded soundtrack, suggesting they have “one more”.
At the same time, his wife reacted with confusion and disappointment. Maks is wearing a white polo shirt and black pants with a baseball cap and is holding their newborn son. The voiceover said, “Do you think we need more? You think we need another one.”

The post, which switches between the couple, shows the “Burn the Floor” star’s bewilderment at her lover’s request as she looks up from her phone. Afterwards, Peta was seen on a hospital bed about to give birth with her stomach surrounded by birthing equipment. A moment later, the voice said, “Okay, we’ll get another one,” prompting the mother-of-two to throw her head back. In the caption, Peta wrote:

Many fans of the actor started sharing relatable experiences in the comments. Jenna Johnson stated, “Literally Val while I was pushing Rom…?.” “My husband asked for another hour after we found out we were having our third girl,” wrote one fan. A second follower responded, “I laughed so hard I nearly blew my tea out my nose! ?.”
“When I left the hospital, my husband said to the nurse who pushed my wheelchair, “See you next year,” another fan chimed in. A fourth typed, “That doesn’t surprise me. The new baby is tall. He will wake up soon. ?.”
It’s no surprise that the Latin ballroom dance champion is overhyped for more kids, as he’s very proud to welcome his newest addition on Father’s Day. Overwhelmed with joy, the father-of-two shared his baby’s first photo but blurred out the toddler’s face.
The post featuring Etta James’ song, “At Last,” shows the love between the father and son pair. She held her newborn baby, wrapped in a pastel blue blanket, and gazed lovingly at him. The cool dad was wearing a white polo shirt with his dark hair combed back.
The Ukrainian-American captioned the photo, “Happy Father’s Day to me! #MadeInMap.” Afterwards, DWTS alumni and fans shared their congratulations in the comments. “OMG YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! On Father’s Day!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Emma Slater wrote while another said:
“Happy Father’s Day, Max! What a gift! What a blessing!! [I] Hope Peta is healthy. Shai will be the best brother ever! [four red heart emojis].”

Unlike her husband, who now wants more babies, the winner of “DWTS” season 22, before her due date, is more consumed with sad emotions because her children are maturing from their young age.
The mom-to-be then shared an incredible pitch clip that describes how children leave a void in the household after they grow up. The video shows how the bathroom becomes dry and underutilized and how messy spaces, fingerprints on the fridge, and Lego toys lying on the floor are never seen around the house when children outgrow the dependency phase.
After the Australian posted the heartbreaking post, she expressed her sadness in the caption. Murgatroyd wrote he sobbed when he saw the video; then mentioned that despite trying to keep his house clean, he would miss the days when he didn’t have to. In his words:
“This just makes me cry… I always strive to have the cleanest house, nothing on the counter, toys perfectly placed on it, etc.…but knowing this day will finally come[,] my heart really hurts….I know I will miss the chaos, the craziness…the mental/physical exhaustion.”
