Peta Murgatroyd has responded to critics who reacted negatively to one of her recent social media posts.
Just days after she posted a clip showing her teaching her son how to cook, the dancer shared another update claiming that the accompanying caption was a “joke”. The video, which has received over 100k likes, appears to be part of an ongoing trend on social media platform TikTok.

“I WILL SAY IT AGAIN FOR THE CRAZY WHO THINK THIS TREND IS SERIOUS….IT IS A JOKE! THAT’S THE MEANING OF FUN. LAUGH. GOD WOULDN’T BE FUNNY IF I WAS SERIOUS SAYING THIS…”
After revealing that she was the one in her marriage who couldn’t cook for her life and didn’t try cooking until she was 30, the superstar concluded, “DARN IT I’M TOO GOOD.”
In case you missed it, the video shows Murgatroyd kissing his six-year-old son on the cheek as he mixes some dry baking ingredients in a pan. The clip wraps up with the “Dancing with the Stars” star staring coldly at the camera. At the same time, the mother of two wrote the recording:
