Pete Davidson Slam MAP

By now you all have probably seen that Saturday Night Live alum has been called out by animal rights groups for going to a pet store and buying a new puppy. They begged the actress to adopt, not shop, and proceeded to slam her for choosing to buy a new puppy.
He has absolutely no regrets about the decision to buy the cockapoo, especially since it was a gift for his mother and sister. Davidson wasn’t happy with PETA having an opinion on what he was doing and decided to call out the organization and specifically call out Daphna.
He tells her to do her own research before running to the media to lash out at him or anyone else. She also reiterated what her lawyer had shared shortly after the puppy-gate incident that she was allergic to dogs and needed a hypoallergenic puppy.

The animal rights organization corrected Davidson and informed him that there were plenty of hypoallergenic puppies available for adoption if he had just done his research. They talk to TMZ about his choice.
“If Pete had done his research, he would have known that there is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog, at least a quarter of the dogs in shelters are purebreds, and Petfinder has listings for stray dogs of every breed under the sun, including the one he bought .”
The news organization contacted Davidson about the voicemail and presented him with facts from PETA. The actress admitted she didn’t realize she could “adopt certain hypoallergenic dogs.” He said he was told, “it’s not an option, and if it is, it’s rare.”

The actress’ voicemail asked the PETA team to suck her man part. When asked by TMZ why he worked so hard on the Davidson team explained that the dog was a gift for his mother and sister who recently and unexpectedly lost another dog he found in the middle of the epidemic.
“I have never seen my mother and sister cry like that in over 20 years. I try to cheer up my family. I was already upset that the store had recorded me without my permission or acknowledgment,” explained Pete.
“Then this organization (PETA) made a public example of us, making our sad situation worse. I’m sad. It’s a bad choice of words. I shouldn’t have said what I said, but I have no regrets for standing up for myself and my family.”

After Davidson shared the sad reasons why she bought a new dog, PETA apologized but still criticized her for not making what they believe was the right decision.
“Our hearts go out to the Davidson family for the loss of their dog, but Pete must know in his heart that there is no reason to buy dogs and support the puppy mill industry when there are millions of dogs waiting for loving homes in shelters, and we hope he will do the right thing and adopt it next time.”
