“I like being strong,” she declared. “I identify with my core, my intuition, and my strength. I have wide, big feet, and I joke, ‘Better to kick you.’ I’m short, close to the ground, fast, and agile.”
Working with trainer Jeanette Jenkins, Pink varied her workouts, incorporating High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), cardio, yoga, kickboxing, strength training, weightlifting and core exercises into her regimen. Despite hard work with a three-hour daily exercise routine and a clean diet, his metabolism seemed unresponsive.
“I would work out three hours a day, eat clean, and my metabolism wasn’t working — I couldn’t get anything started,” Pink explains. “I was like, ‘I’m tired, I’m sad, I haven’t been away from my family in three years—even overnight. And I just need a minute.’”
Recognizing the need to rest and take care of herself, Pink embarked on a two-week wellness program in Spain, adopting the Kushi diet — a nutritious anti-inflammatory regimen focused on whole grains, legumes and vegetables. This experience, marked by separation from his family, became a profound gift to himself, driven by a desire for personal well-being that would ultimately benefit his loved ones.
