The coroner’s report revealed that Perry had levels of ketamine in his system comparable to hospital patients undergoing general anesthesia at the time of his discovery.

The medical examiner explained that for patients under general anesthesia, normal blood ketamine levels are in the range of 1,000 – 6,000 ng/ml.

Drowning and coronary artery disease were identified as contributing factors, given the potential for drowning during unconsciousness and “exacerbating ketamine-induced myocardial effects on the heart.”
