Malone candidly shares how becoming a parent has changed her perspective, leading her to abandon her partying lifestyle. Speaking about the impact of her daughter’s birth, she told the Apple Music host:
“Having a baby really put a lot of perspective and it really slowed me down a lot um like a smart party you know go out and be crazy and but it’s like the most beautiful thing.”
The songwriter continued, saying, “You mentioned you know all the trappings of success and everything that comes with that. I just want to take a moment and enjoy it. I just want to take a moment and be like you know what it is, it’s amazing.”
The “Stoney” artist openly discussed his relationship with alcohol, admitting that it had become a weakness for him. He explained, “I have a really hard time expressing myself through recordings if I’m not a little f**ked up, it’s hard.”
However, the “Rockstar” singer assured fans that he is now in a good place with him: “It’s a good place now because if I’m not recording or I’m not talking to people or if I’m not performing, I really only drink to have fun It’s like having a beer with my dad or my bud.”
The “Twelve Karat Toothache” artist has certainly come a long way since last year when she opened up about how she initially resisted change despite her friends’ efforts. However, Malone revealed that with the support of his fiancee, who was not publicly disclosed, the musician found the strength to leave the dark period in his life.
Sharing her journey to overcome addiction, the Grammy Award nominee expressed her immense gratitude to him, stating, “I met a very beautiful person who made me feel human again. It was a guide out of darkness into light… He saved the lives of my kings— it was so epic.”
Reflecting on his past, the “FishCenter Live” musical guest admitted that he realized the importance of listening to others instead of getting caught up in his world of addiction.

Rowe just completed a new tattoo on the “One Right Now” singer’s forehead, which reads “DDP.” The fresh art is believed to be Malone’s daughter’s initials, which she has kept secret since her arrival. In the caption, he wrote:
