Malone candidly shares how becoming a parent has changed her perspective, leading her to abandon her partying lifestyle. Speaking about the impact of her daughter’s birth, she told the Apple Music host:

“Having a baby really put a lot of perspective and it really slowed me down a lot um like a smart party you know go out and be crazy and but it’s like the most beautiful thing.”

The songwriter continued, saying, “You mentioned you know all the trappings of success and everything that comes with that. I just want to take a moment and enjoy it. I just want to take a moment and be like you know what it is, it’s amazing.”

The “Stoney” artist openly discussed his relationship with alcohol, admitting that it had become a weakness for him. He explained, “I have a really hard time expressing myself through recordings if I’m not a little f**ked up, it’s hard.”
