The Powerball jackpot continued to grow after no ticket matched all six numbers Monday night to claim the $1.07 billion top prize.
The massive jackpot is now at an estimated $1.2 billion – with a one-off cash payout option of $551.7 million – heading into Wednesday night’s draw. It is the third largest prize offered in the history of the game.
The winning numbers drawn Monday night were 12, 26, 27, 43 and 47 with the red Powerball number 5. The Power Play option is 2X.
There is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the top prize, according to the game.
Four lucky winners have claimed the bulk of the cash after matching all five white numbers, the game announced Monday night.

The jackpot has been up for grabs in 32 consecutive draws since the July win.

The current run marks the first time in the game’s history that the billion-dollar top prize will be won consecutively, Powerball said.
Behind that is the $754.6 million top prize won by a player in Washington in February, which is now marked as the game’s seventh-largest prize.
Powerball tickets are $2 per game and are sold in 45 states, Washington, DC, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
The games say more than half of ticket sales revenue stays in the jurisdiction where they are sold.
