Death
On 19 September 2022, Powlen Jessica committed suicide, and her body was found by the Chennai police after her parents and friends lodged a complaint. According to police, her family and friends filed a missing complaint after Powlen Jessica stopped answering their phone calls and text messages. Reportedly, the police found a suicide note in his diary in which he wrote that he ended his life because of his failed love life, and he did not blame anyone for his death. In the letter, he wrote,
I love someone very much. But the love did not end. Therefore, I leave this world and no one will be responsible for my death. I will love you for the rest of my life and I will continue to love you even after that.”
