A Texas teenager who was nine months pregnant was reported missing over the weekend when she failed to show up at the hospital for a scheduled induction – and her boyfriend was also allegedly off the grid.
Savanah Nicole Soto, 18, was last seen at her apartment complex in Leon Valley on Friday, her mother, Gloria Cordova, told KHOU11.
Cordova became concerned the next day when Soto failed to show up at the hospital for a scheduled induction.
“I go [their apartment] and knocked and knocked and knocked and he didn’t answer. We got to the hospital. They said she wasn’t there,” Cordova said of the moment she realized her daughter was missing.
A CLEAR Alert was issued for Soto by the Texas Department of Transportation on Monday morning stating that the teenager may be in danger, KHOU11 reported.
“Savanah is very, very happy because she is going to be a mother. It breaks my heart,” Cordova said.

Soto was living with her boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, 22, at the time of her disappearance, KENS5 said, citing the teenager’s family.
Guerra’s location is also unknown.
Soto’s sister-in-law posted a series of Facebook updates in which she accused Guerra of being “abusive,” though this report also could not be confirmed.
“I will not let you become one of the statistics of what happens when you have an abusive boyfriend,” an emotional tribute read alongside several photos of Soto.
“I will not allow this to be your story. this is not where this ends. Your baby should be your starting mama. your awareness to go for the safety of you and your baby boy. go home and find a way home,” wrote the worried brother.
Soto’s boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, also appears to be missing. Tick tock
Guerra’s mother, however, shared her own since-deleted post that read “I know my son and he would never do anything to hurt him.”
Soto is more than a week past her due date, Soto’s grandmother, Rachel Soto, told KENS5.
“It’s not normal, there’s something that doesn’t add up here. I want answers, we all want answers,” he said.
Leon Valley police tried to get into Soto’s apartment on Monday but were unsuccessful, KENS5 reported.
The officer stayed at the scene and spoke with the family for several minutes.
Guerra’s mother posted about her son on Facebook, but later took the post down. Tick tock
The Leon Valley Police Department did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment on Soto’s disappearance or to confirm whether Guerra was also considered missing.
“She is a beautiful girl, she is a beautiful person. She would help anyone and I want someone to help us,” Rachel Soto told KENS5 about the loss of her granddaughter.

Soto’s mother is looking for her daughter and unborn grandson while grieving the loss of another child, she told KHOU11.
“It’s hard, it’s like one thing after another,” Cordova said of her 15-year-old son’s death last year.
“It still hurts because what I told my kids, I’m not complete, I’m not complete, and now I don’t have my daughter,” she said.
Savanah Nicole Soto was due to give birth hours after she went missing. Tick tock
“Please go home. No one will judge you. No one will say anything. I just want you to come home,” she pleaded with her daughter.
