President Joe Biden visited the church of St. Croix on Saturday – his first public appearance since embarking on a controversial Caribbean vacation three days earlier.
Photos show Biden surrounded by US Secret Service agents leaving Holy Cross Catholic Church in Christiansted, waving to spectators and reporters without answering any questions after attending a 4pm mass.
Biden landed in St. Croix on Wednesday where he stayed for free at the beach house of wealthy friends Bill and Connie Neville — a trip that comes as New York City and other major cities have been overrun by migrants crossing the southern border.
