According to a report by The Times, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “okay” about being evicted from Frogmore Cottage. After Harry’s explosive memoir, replace, was released in January; The Royal couple have been given weeks to vacate their English home by Buckingham Palace.

A source for the news outlet claimed that Harry and Meghan were not surprised to be asked to leave Frogmore Cottage and said, “If we have to move, we will.”

Frogmore Cottage is where Harry and Meghan built many of their UK memories as they started their family. When they first received the property, the couple had to make extensive renovations, which Sovereign Grant did. However, when the couple left the UK and their senior Royal posts, they paid back the £2.4 million renovation.

Earlier this week, reports confirmed that Frogmore cottage was offered to Prince Andrew to replace his current Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park. However, Andrew allegedly declined the offer as he prefers his current home, which is much bigger than Frogmore.

Andrew now pays around £250 a week for the subsidized mansion, which covers 98 acres and has 30 rooms and a pool. follow TelegraphHarry and Meghan were not informed that the cottage “has been earmarked for the Duke of York.”

News of King Charles offering Frogmore, which the couple have carefully renovated and designed to suit their family, to Andrew will certainly not sit well with Harry and Meghan. Reports suggest the news will only worsen the already strained relationship between the couple and the Royal Family.

The revelations about the Frogmore cottage come amid preparations for the coronation in May, which has become controversial over the possibility that Harry may not be invited. During a previous interview, the Duke was asked if he would attend the event, and he said it was left to the Royal Family.

Harry said, “A lot can happen between now and then. But, the door is always open. The ball is in their court. There’s a lot to talk about, and I really hope they’re willing to sit down and talk about it.” If the couple choose to attend the coronation celebrations, it could be their last time at Frogmore.

Harry and Meghan have only stayed at the cottage a few times since they stepped back from their official roles and left the UK in 2020. The last time they were there was in September 2022, for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, and before that in June, to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee.
