Princess Kate did so again, honoring the memory of Queen Elizabeth II by wearing two jewels at the funeral. She arrived at the venue wearing Bahraini Pearl Drop Earrings and a four piece pearl choker with a diamond stud in the middle. The earrings were a gift to the Queen for her wedding in 1947 while she wore a beautiful choker to a state banquet in Bangladesh in 1983.
Another event where Princess Kate wore the jewelry was the 2021 funeral of Queen Elizabeth’s husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. She was also seen with pearl drop earrings at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.

A day before the late Queen was laid to rest at Westminster Abbey, PEOPLE reported that George and Charlotte had a unique role in the service. The youngsters are set to walk behind the coffin for the procession, following right behind their parents and ahead of their uncle Prince Harry and aunt Meghan Markle.

Also, the recent “ceremonial procession” of the old monarch’s coffin from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall the previous week reminded Prince William of his mother’s ceremony after her death.
