Television
In 2005, Samrat went to Mumbai. In 2006, she made her acting debut with a Star Plus TV show titled ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi,’ produced by Balaji Telefilm. He played Laksh Virani, acting alongside Mouni Roy and Tia Bajpai. However, she left the show in 2007.

In 2008, he was a contestant on the Star Plus reality show ‘Kaho Na Yaar Hai.’ Later, in 2011, Samrat starred as the lead in choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant’s musical theater production, ‘Taj Express.’

Filed Complaint against Ekta Kapoor
In 2007, Pulkit left the TV show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ after a disagreement with Ekta Kapoor and publicly confronted her, accusing Balaji Telefilms of unfair treatment over the actors’ fees. He filed a suit against Ekta, alleging that she publicly damaged his reputation and owed him Rs 3.21 lakh. Due to this, Pulkit struggles to find work as Balaji and other TV production companies avoid hiring him.
Damaged Hotel Furniture
Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam’s second romantic film, ‘Junooniyat,’ did not do well at the box office. It seems that Pulkit is having a hard time dealing with this failure, especially since it is the second failure in a row for the rumored couple. There were reports of Pulkit losing his temper at the Mumbai airport and later vandalizing hotel furniture. Allegedly, he was upset with the producers for not spending enough to promote the film. Pulkit reportedly broke Maharaja’s chair in his hotel room and demanded damages worth Rs 50,000 from the producer.
Misbehaving with the Media
At the Mumbai airport, Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam were spotted together. Pulkit, who had just separated from his wife, got angry when he saw the paparazzi and even threatened a journalist by lifting his suitcase when questioned.
