Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral procession to Windsor Castle took place on Monday, September 19.
Thousands of loyal fans turned out to pay their last respects and say goodbye to their Queen who reigned for over 70 years.

The Royal Family including King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Catherine “Kate” Middleton, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle all attended the state funeral on Monday.
Apart from His Majesty’s immediate family are his beloved corgis, Sandy and Muick.
The late king owned more than 30 corgis during his reign and was known for his love of the breed.

The Queen’s deep love of corgis began when she was gifted a corgi puppy, Susan, on her 18th birthday.
Sandy and Muick wait patiently outside Windsor Castle for their late owner’s coffin to arrive.
Corgis were presented to Queen Elizabeth II by her son, Prince Andrew.

Sandy and Muick seemed unfazed by the loud noise coming from outside the gates of Windsor Castle. Even a shot was heard and neither of them moved or got angry.
Obviously they are used to the hype of the late owner.

Her Fell Pony, Emma, also welcomed the procession as she stood on the grass among the floral tributes along the Long Walk.
Queen Elizabeth II is a very experienced pet owner.
She takes care of her own dogs as much as possible and during her weekends at Windsor Castle, the corgis stay in her private apartment.
He personally feeds them whenever his busy schedule allows and likes to take them for walks.
In 2021, she was gifted a corgi and a dorgi, a corgi dachshund, while staying at Windsor Castle during confinement.

The puppies reportedly accompanied the Queen while her husband, Prince Phillip, was in hospital.
The dorgi was named Fergus after his uncle who was killed during the first World War. The corgi was named Muick (Mick), after Loch Muick on the Balmoral estate.
Sadly, Fergus died aged five months just weeks after Prince Phillip died.
Fergus was replaced by a new corgi puppy, Sandy, from Prince Andrew and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
