Queen Latifah has only good things to say about her Hollywood colleague, Jamie Foxx, who recently suffered from health issues.
In an interview, he praised his nature and mentioned that he was “secretly behind the success of many people in music, in Hollywood.”
Foxx recently made a public appearance after spending weeks in rehab at a private facility in Chicago. In April, he suffered a medical emergency while filming the upcoming Netflix movie, “Back in Action.”

She began by sharing with the publication that she is “praying hard” for him as he continues to recover at home from the health scare he suffered in April.
Turning to her respected nature, Latifah described the “Django Unchained” star as “one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet” and that she’s “quietly behind the success of a lot of people in music, in Hollywood.”
“Jamie is a unicorn,” Latifah said of her Hollywood co-star. “And if you broadcast an entire show about it, you’d be surprised how many people have been shown.”
Although the actress-cum-singer didn’t reveal whether Foxx had helped her personally, she mentioned hearing a lot of “good stories” about him, especially about how he treated people who toured with him.

During the interview, Latifah also recalled Foxx’s drive, which often caused him to work too hard in the past.
“I don’t know how he gets the energy to do after-show parties, but I must have partied with him a few times because he would be on the mic and sing,” he says in awe.
“I’d say, ‘You just did a two-hour show and you’re still in the club doing another show [one]!’” Latifah continued.
In the midst of his recovery, Foxx reportedly threw a party at the Chicago rehab facility where he lives. The Oscar winner spent several weeks at the facility after he was transferred there from a hospital in Atlanta amid a health scare.
Many of his loved ones, who supported him while he was out of commission, attended the party held over the weekend.

On July 9, excited viewers saw the “Back in Action” star enjoy a boat ride on the Chicago River with friends. Decked out in an all-black and matching ensemble, she looked excited to be back in public and waved to fans from the ship.
On the same day, he returned to social media after taking a break since his last Instagram post, where he shared his sincere appreciation to fans for their prayers and support while he was hospitalized.
In a tweet, he hinted that his previous visit to the Chicago River had something to do with his brand of booze, the Brown Sugar Bourbon brand.
Foxx wrote, “Boat life, Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn,” adding “Stay blessed!”

A few days after his first public outing since the health scare, the actor was spotted doing an act of goodwill.
A video of the actor returning a lost wallet to its female owner while out in Chicago went viral, further lending credence to the actor’s good nature.
“Mom lost her bag in Chicago today. Jamie the fox [sic] found her and brought her to him, and she said she felt good. Oh God, it’s okay,” the wallet owner’s son captioned the video.
So far, Foxx has not addressed his health issues publicly, and any future plans to do so remain unclear. During his absence, his family chose to keep the details of his illness a secret for undisclosed reasons.
