Ramona Singer is waving goodbye to her “RHONY” family after 13 full seasons. In a recent interview, the reality TV personality confirmed that she will not be appearing on the new version of the “Real Housewives of New York” show.
The production team announced the upcoming version of the show “Legacy” where they will introduce new actors and keep some of the original members. However, Singer decided it wasn’t something he wanted to do anymore.

The 65-year-old man told Page Six his plan to leave after deciding he didn’t like the show anymore. “I don’t want to perform anymore,” Singer said. He then states that that is not what he wants to do at the moment. “It’s not for me at this time.”
The show’s network plans to revamp “RHONY” at the beginning of the year by bringing in members of fan favorites from previous seasons. The team hopes to have Singer along with other members from last season, such as Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps. They also plan to invite alumni like Dorinda Medley, Jill Zarin, and Kelly Bensimon.
However, plans changed after they heard how the star felt about the show. They held out to invite their most loyal cast member after she started talking bad about “RHONY” to the public.

The singer aired her thoughts on the reality series in an appearance on the Reality with the King podcast in October. Reflecting on how long he has spent with the hit show, he says, “I’ve been there for a long time.” In response to whether he wanted to be associated with the franchise, he said, “I mean, never say no, never say never.”
However, he did not support the production team’s idea to bring back alum for the “Legacy” version. He was also disappointed that they changed their minds as there were no plans to renew former cast members before. Of the show, he asked, “How can it be so good?”
He said, “The people they’re going to bring back are the people they don’t want to reform.” The TV personality who starred in the show for over 13 years also joked about the new title. “So now what? Are you going to call it ‘The Loser Show,’ ‘Loser Legacy’?” Although she looked upset, a source close to the star told Page Six that he didn’t mean to speak ill of the show. However, it discourages teams from sending him invitations.

The source noted that her time on the podcast was a “defining moment” for how she felt about the show. Although he had some negative experiences, there were some memorable ones.
The source also insisted that she has a special place in her heart for the show and didn’t mean to sound offensive. “He seems to put his foot in his mouth a lot. Although he means well, he still won’t be joining the show for his future projects.
Her decision to end her time with the “RHONY” team ends her title as the show’s longest-serving cast member, as she has provided enough drama and content to viewers since 2008. Although she is no longer on the show, the star is ready to teach cast members just how to follow his footsteps.

In response to his feelings about the new cast, Singer said, “I don’t know about the new cast. I don’t even know who they are.” However, he hopes they are good enough to carry on the “Legacy” of the original members. He also explained that imitating the personality of the former star of the show would be “the worst thing to do.”
“People will know you’re faking it,” he added. The star then offered to teach them how to become “icons like him” if they hired him. “Hire me as a consultant and then I’ll show you what to do so you can become an icon like me.”
