In a viral video that is now making the rounds, Killer Mike, dressed in black, is seen being dragged out of the Grammy venue, with his hands handcuffed behind his back.

The “Legend Has It” rapper was clearly surprised by the development, with his team yelling, “What the f–k?” as they walked out while onlookers shouted, “Free Mike.” According to reports, the details of the arrest are still a bit unclear at this time, but it is related to “misconduct” and Killer Mike may return to the awards ceremony.

“An official told someone on his team that he might be released tonight from the arena. It is not clear whether he was charged here and what he was charged with,” a journalist said write.

In a follow-up tweet, the reporter confirmed that an officer present at the scene told him Killer Mike had been picked up for “misconduct” that had nothing to do with the Grammys. A source reportedly described the incident as “inconsequential.” One report suggested that the incident was linked to an “altercation” involving security at the event.

It seems the Grammys team is not happy with the development as Harvey Mason, President of the Recording Academy, is seen trying to talk to Mike’s team and the authorities in an attempt to defuse the situation.

A few hours earlier, Killer Mike picked up three awards for Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance for “Scientists & Engineers” and Best Rap Album for Michael. He celebrated the great victory with a touching speech.

“You can’t tell me you’re too old. You can’t tell me it’s too late,” he told an excited audience during the Grammy Pre-show. “For all the people out there who think you’re too old to rap, bulls–t . I don’t give a commercial if you 78 rap about how many girls you got in the nursing home, make sure we keep hip-hop.”

The win was quite monumental for Killer Mike who won his last Grammy in 2003 for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for his collaboration with OutKast — “The Whole World.”

For best rap album, Mike beat out Drake and 21 Savage’s “Her Loss,” Nas’ “King’s Disease III,” Travis Scott’s “Utopia,” and Metro Boomin’s “Heroes & Villains.”
