Raveena Tandon Thadani was born on 26 October 1974 (age 48 years; in 2022) in Mumbai. His zodiac sign is Scorpio.
He attended Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai and went to Mithibai College to pursue a Bachelor of Arts. He had to leave his college after 2 years because of his growing popularity as a Bollywood actor. As a child, he wanted to become an IPS officer or a Pilot. Tandon never thought of becoming an actor. However, while he was interning at Genesis PR, he received a call from Shantanu Sheorey’s office saying that they wanted to shoot him for an ad. Raveena made her debut in 1991 with the Bollywood film “Patthar Ke Phool.”
Her performance in the film was appreciated by the audience and won her the Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year. After that, he appeared in many hit films including Laadla (1994), Dilwale (1994), Mohra (1994), Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), Ziddi (1997), Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (1998) and Dulhe Raja (1998). .

In 1999, he made his Kannada film debut with the film “Upendra.”

- During the ongoing #MeToo movement in India, Raveena Tandon tweeted in support of the movement and after that many Twitterati linked her tweet to her past relationship with Akshay Kumar. However, later, she lashed out at Twitterati saying that she didn’t tweet just because of her past but because of what she saw happening to women in the industry.
- In 2018, When there were several strikes by farmers that took place in various states, Raveena tweeted that anyone who damages public property and commodities should be arrested immediately. After his tweet, he was slammed for his insensitivity and political leanings. He quickly deleted his post afterwards and tweeted that he never meant farmers and he was talking about antisocials. He also blamed the media for distorting his comments.
- In 2018, Raveena courted controversy after filming an ad in the ‘no camera zone’ at the Lingaraj Temple in Odisha’s capital, Bhubaneswar. The incident came into limelight after a clip featuring Raveena giving beauty tips at the Lingaraj Temple in Odisha’s capital Bhubaneswar was uploaded on social media.
