Wilson began the week by pointing an accusing finger at Baron Cohen, who starred with him in the 2016 film, “The Brothers Grimsby.”

Taking to her Instagram Stories early Monday morning, the “Pitch Perfect” star informed her 11.1 million followers:

“I will not be bullied or silenced by high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers. The ‘hole’ I talk about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is: Sacha Baron Cohen.”

The words, written in black letters, are placed against a background of purple books and pens.

Just two days ago, Wilson typed through his Stories, “I wrote about a—hole in my book. Now, said a—hole is trying to threaten me. He’s hired a crisis PR manager and a lawyer.”

He stated that even if the unnamed individual “tried to stop the press from getting out about” his book, the pages would fall, and the public would “know the truth.”

Rebel Wilson: ‘I Have a ‘No Holes’ Policy’

Rebel Wilson Slams Sacha Baron Cohen For Trying To Hush Upcoming MemoirInstagram Stories | Wilson’s Rebels

Wilson initially hatched a plan to name and shame a Hollywood figure he had worked with that was unsuccessful in a video posted on Instagram on March 15. Kicking off the clip, the 44-year-old said:

When I first came to Hollywood, people were like, ‘Yeah, I have a no-holes policy which means, like, I don’t work with—holes.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I mean, that sounds logical, logical.'”

The meaning behind the person’s words was soon realized by the “How to Be Single” performer as he stated “working with a big hole,” and now has the same policy.

“The chapter about the a—hole, is chapter 23. That man is a big hole,” Wilson added. In the caption accompanying the seconds-long clip, he wrote:

Along with calling out Baron Cohen for his supposed wrongdoing, Wilson claims that “Rebel Rising” will explore his unique Hollywood journey and his experiences dealing with personal subjects like weight, sexuality and fertility.

Speaking about the book’s contents in a video posted last December, the Shorty Award recipient stated:

“Guys, I can’t wait for you to read this. You’ll see a new side of me—lots of funny stuff and serious stuff. And hopefully, you’ll love the book as much as I’ve loved writing it—even though it’s heartbreaking and emotional at times. “

Writing His Life Story Didn’t Come Easy For Wilson

In previous interviews with US media, Wilson gave an insight into the intimate and often challenging process of writing his life story. Turns out, the secret to fixing it is for him to be isolated. He revealed:

“I’ve been writing the book for the past 18 months because when I write, I have to be completely alone and isolated. It’s a secret thing that I’ve been doing on my own for 18 months. It’s so exciting now that it’s finished.”

However, being isolated isn’t the only thing he’s up to, especially when he realizes that the first chapter of his upcoming memoir has been cut short. To solve the problem, Wilson stated that he tried something different.
