Rebel Wilson recently opened up about her weight gain. The actor revealed in a post on social media that the stress and his hectic work schedule had caused him to gain weight.
Sharing the post alongside a photo of herself relaxing on a boat, Wilson noted that the weight gain made her “feel bad” about herself but that she was really proud of the work she’s done over the past few months, especially her film and memoir.

In a short message posted on her social media page, Wilson opened up about her weight gain, sharing with her 11.1 million fans that she gained 30 pounds while working hard on various projects in the past month.
She stated that she felt bad about gaining weight because of her busy schedule, and that she had lost her “healthy lifestyle focus.”
“Working hard means, because of all the stress, I’ve gained 14 kg (30 pounds)! It makes me feel bad about myself…it shouldn’t…but it happened,” Wilson began on her Instagram page.
She continued, “I’m so proud of the work I’m doing on the new film and my memoir, it’s been A LOT and I’m losing focus on my healthy lifestyle. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?”
Wilson’s post was accompanied by a photo and video of her relaxing on a boat wearing a black swimsuit and sunglasses.

Wilson’s post was flooded with comments showing support for her after she opened up about her 30-pound weight gain during her busy year. Followers of the star noted that she still looks great and that it’s normal to gain weight while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

During an interview in 2022 with People magazineshe opened up about motherhood and how it influenced her decision to lose weight.
The “Pitch Perfect” star claimed that in 2019, when she saw her fertility doctor, she was told that losing weight would increase her chances of retrieving and freezing her eggs.
“He looked me up and down and said, ‘You’d do better if you were healthier,'” she said at the time.
She admitted that the comments from the doctor surprised her but that she was “right” because she was carrying a lot of “excess” weight.
“I was surprised. I thought, ‘Oh God, this guy is rude.’ He’s right. I carry a lot of excess weight. It’s almost like I don’t think about my own needs. I think about the needs of future children which really inspires me to be healthier.”
