The conversation started with the actor talking about how he met his lover and how they started a relationship. The host asked Wilson if he knew he was attracted to women at the time he met his lover.
In response to this, Wilson said, “That’s a good question; like i know i’m not one hundred percent straight, but i don’t know. I think I would love it… I went to a Christian girls’ high school, and I come from a fairly conservative family. So I think if I was twenty years younger, it wouldn’t have been an issue to like to explore that side of my sexuality, but I guess I never got there. “
Further, the conversation turns to the comedian’s daughter and how motherhood is. The podcast host recalled the criticism Wilson received after he and his girlfriend stepped out a week after the birth of their daughter.
He then asked Wilson how he processes other people’s judgments about parenting. Wilson responded, “Our baby was like a week old, and then the babysitter said go, and then I was like, ‘no, no, no’ I don’t want to, I don’t want to go out. She was like, ‘the baby’s sleeping; you’re fine ; just get out.’
The “Pitch Perfect” star continued, “But I’m surprised by the criticism because Chris Hemsworth goes to the gym; well, people aren’t yelling, ‘where are your kids? What are you doing?’ But why do they do it to every woman?” The actress went on to talk about growing up with her mother, stressing that motherhood is not the same as giving up everything.

According to Wilson, “Just because you become a mother doesn’t mean you lose your identity as an individual, it doesn’t mean you can’t go out with friends or you can’t go on vacation, or that you can’t have a career. It’s hard, but it doesn’t mean you give up on yourself as a person.”

Fans will recall that a few weeks after the “Hustle” actress shared the news of welcoming her daughter via surrogacy, she was spotted at Leonardo DiCaprio and Paris Hilton’s party, having a busy time. Fans seemed unhappy for the Hollywood star as they flooded her pictures from the event with negative comments.
One fan wrote, “I’m definitely not leaving my newborn to party the week he’s born! Whether I gave birth to it myself or not is irrelevant!” Another added, “She can do whatever she wants, like any mother, but it seems a little odd that a week after the baby she’s missing. [for] so long arrived and he went out partying. Even for an hour or so, it looks a bit strange.”
This commenter insisted, “Ummm sorry?!? Didn’t you just have a baby this week? So confused now. This is the most important time to bond with your baby, not party,” while another noted, “I think she might regret this post in a few weeks. [or] months.”

The 42-year-old star broke the news of her daughter’s arrival in November 2022 in a surprise post on social media. Alongside a sweet note of her newborn daughter, she wrote:
