The Duke and his wife are embroiled in a new row with the royal family over his father’s birthday party. Buckingham Palace has reportedly not extended an invitation to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to King Charles’ 75th birthday party at Clarence House, as their spokesperson indicated, contradicting earlier reports that Prince Harry declined the invitation.
The insider stated, “They didn’t receive any invitations and didn’t know about any celebrations until the story came out. I’m sure the Duke will find a way to reach out personally to wish Her Majesty a happy birthday as he always does.”
A friend of the Sussexes suggested it was possible the Palace leaked the story to divert attention from a recent royal visit to Kenya, where King Charles faced calls to apologize for colonial history.

Amid the drama with his son Harry, King Charles recently delivered his first King’s speech, revealing the UK government’s desire for new legislation that could set them apart from the Labor Party ahead of the next general election. This plan involves taking a strong stance on issues related to the criminal justice system and environmental concerns.
However, there are limited proposals to improve the UK’s struggling public services. In his speech, King Charles expressed his gratitude to his late mother, Queen Elizabeth, and her dedication to serving the country.
The government has introduced a total of 21 bills for what is likely to be the last session of parliament before the next election. This is the lowest number of bills introduced since 2014, with seven of them carried over from the previous session.
