In a statement on social media, the 40-year-old expressed her disappointment that the network did not ask her back for the upcoming 14th season of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

When Annemarie made her debut in the sixth episode of “RHOBH” season 13, she received praise from fans.

He soon cemented his place in their hearts when he got into a seemingly endless debate with Sutton Stracke about the size of the shopkeeper’s esophagus.

Unfortunately, viewers won’t get to see the warring couple settle their differences as Annemarie confirmed she’s exiting the series after just one season. Taking to Instagram to break the news, the nurse anesthetist began:

“I just got the news today that I will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I never auditioned for this show. The show found me and asked me to join out of the blue, 6 weeks after the cast had already started filming.”

Despite her initial enthusiasm for the opportunity, Annemarie shared regrets about not being able to share her true self “or even a glimpse of my unique life story.”

After expressing the love and support of her husband, Marcellus, and their four children, the competitive athlete revealed what she has planned for the show’s 14th season.

He wrote, “It is my mission for next season to show that the Black family unit is strong and that ‘black love that hurts’ exists, even in Beverly Hills.”

The reality star also aspires to share her personal struggles, including the profound loss of her mother to lung cancer and her journey through the complexities of adoption trauma.

Putting her disappointment aside, Annemarie congratulated her former co-stars for the upcoming season and expressed her gratitude to Bravo for the opportunity.

Since Annemarie announced her departure, fans have shown their support through the comments section.

A few months after their anniversary, an anonymous individual filed a lawsuit against Marcellus, accusing him of rape and sexual assault while they were at Columbia University.

Accusers allege that the former athlete assaulted her, stating he “raped her several times in her dorm room” during the fall semester of 1994.

Per Life & Style magazine, which obtained the document, the woman insisted that she told Marcellus she was still a virgin after they became “friendly acquaintances.”

Marcellus allegedly replied, “Doesn’t anyone try to have sex without a virgin!” before he climbed on top of her and raped her. The filing states that Marcellus was placed on “academic probation” due to “bad grades” after the accuser spoke about the alleged incident.
