Ahead of the Super Bowl LVII Halftime show on Sunday, February 12, Rihanna was interviewed for her appearance in the March issue of British Vogue. During the conversation, she talked about her pregnancy and postpartum while touching on her relationship with her son, whose name has yet to be released publicly.

The 34-year-old billionaire feels lucky to have had a smooth delivery. However, it still felt surreal to her to give birth to another human and leave the hospital as a family of three. Rihanna revealed that the early days after giving birth were quite challenging as new parents just went through the motions of adjusting, but eventually, they got the hang of it.
She explained, “You go into the hospital as a couple and leave as a family of three. It’s crazy. And oh man, those first few days are crazy. you don’t sleep. at all. Not even if you want to. We’re going home, turkey cool, no one. It’s just us as parents and our baby. Man, you’re a zombie for the most part.”
However, despite how difficult the first phase of parenthood can be, the “Rude Boy” singer has the best partner by her side to navigate everything motherhood throws her way. Feeling grateful to have a partner by his side, he said,
“We’re best friends with a baby — we have to be on the same page, but we’ve always had that in our relationship.”
The Fenty Beauty owner further explained that everything changed once the baby was in the picture. However, that only made him and the “Fashion Killa” rapper closer. She admitted to remaining in awe of the “undeniable” connection between the men in her life as she expressed her status in the beautiful father-son relationship. He shared:
“I just sit on the sidelines when they’re together – I’m actually the girl trying to get into the boys’ club, waiting my turn. He is obsessed with his father. And I was like: ‘Didn’t I give birth to you? What is happening?'”
The Barbadian fashion designer added that every time Rocky made eye contact with their son, he was so happy, like “he was on fire,” making him conclude how great the bond between father and son is.
“All the things they say about sons and mothers, it’s a myth,” he said. “Boys and fathers are crazy. I realized that the validation you need as a man is from your father.” Apparently, the “Praise The Lord” rapper always wanted a man, although she was open to either gender at first. However, he got what he wanted, which he was happy about.
It’s no surprise that the Harlem-born record producer shares such a deep connection with his son because he already predicted the type of father he would be. Ahead of the birth of the couple’s only child — for now — A$AP Rocky spoke about his hopes as a father and how he intends to raise their children.
As reported, she emphasized her plan to always tell her children to “never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what.” This led him to admit that he actually has a passion for cartoons as he has watched several such as “Teletubbies,” “Blue’s Clues,” “Yo Gabba Gabba,” “Peppa Pig” and “Baby Shark.”
Also, the “Peso” rapper wants to raise “open-minded” children who will grow up to be non-discriminating people. “I’m not trying to portray a saint,” he asserted. “But realistically, I just want cool kids with cool parents.”
