Meet Rio Hackford’s Wife, Libby Grace.
Rio Hackford has reportedly died and his family confirmed that Rio “passed away from uveal melanoma, a very aggressive and rare type of cancer.” He is the son of Helen Mirren and her husband Taylor Hackford. His brother Alex Hackford confirmed that he died on April 14, 2022.
Helen and Taylor are both mourning the loss of their son. Helen posted on Instagram, “El Rio” along with her photo. She married her father in 1997.
Helen and Taylor make their first comments about Rio’s death. In a statement sent to TODAY, the director and actor said they were “both inspired by the life of our son and stepson, Rio Hackford, and saddened by his loss.”
“His life showed us how to live in generosity and community,” the couple said. “He shared his life’s journey with so many who now mourn him, and at the same time, celebrate their good fortune to have known him.”

Meet Rio Hackford’s Wife, Libby Grace
Rio Hackford is married to his wife, Libby Grace. They reportedly tied the knot in 2015. According to Rio’s Facebook post, they have been together since 2012.
The couple welcomed their son Waylon Jack on November 19, 2012. They also welcomed their second son Buck James in 2020.

Libby joined the Desert Sessions as a guitarist, vocalist, and singer-songwriter. She is a family friend of Joshua Homme and invites Libby to join the group to take a break from full-time motherhood and give it a try.
