Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is clarifying his rumored involvement in Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
Several reports have claimed the politician will join Trump as his vice president in the ongoing election for the next US leader. However, RFK Jr., who comes from a distinguished family of former senators and presidents, does not want to serve under anyone.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Denies Viral VP Speculation
Kennedy broke her silence on speculation about her campaigning for Trump’s Vice President on the season 12 premiere of “Dam Your Spirit.”
He attended the Los Angeles event with his wife, Cheryl Hines, who looked gorgeous in a red dress.

While posing for photos at the venue, the couple stopped for an interview, and RFK Jr. was asked if he would consider serving as Trump’s vice president. The question drew a smile from Hines before her husband quickly shut down the speculation, saying, “I don’t think my marriage is going to last.”
The lovebirds may have addressed the rumors personally, as Kennedy pointed at Hines with a sweet smile in response. This prompts the interviewer to switch the microphone to the blonde beauty, who add, “I think he’s right.” A representative for Variety then asked RFK Jr. to clarify if he just wanted to run for president, and he agreed.
The 70-year-old began campaigning to become the next US leader in April 2023 and initially ran for the Democratic party nomination. However, he switched sides in October 2023 by announcing his plans to join the Independent party.
Moving into January, sources close to Trump’s party began to circulate the possibility of Kennedy serving as a presidential running mate.
“The Trump operatives expressed interest in Kennedy early on, but it was all premature,” one insider claimed, noting it was “out of the box” since RFK Jr. announced he was running for president.

“Anything is possible. I’m not going to write it off by any means,” the source continued. Another informant echoed similar sentiments with key donors to both the Trump and Kennedy campaigns adding:
“It’s very behind the scenes at this stage. As we progress, you may see it bubbling a little more. Bobby can bring new people to the polls.”
Timothy Mellon, who has reportedly donated at least $5 million to Kennedy’s SuperPAC, also told The New York Post: “I’ve heard the concept. It is not surprising.” Given RFK Jr’s denial, this report is way off the mark.
RFK Jr. Promoting Exercise Challenge Amid Concerns For Other Presidential Candidates
Days before addressing the viral VP speculation, Kennedy’s super PAC began promoting a fitness challenge for potential voters. The exercise project appears to be aimed at attracting more fans amid concerns about the health of Trump and President Joe Biden.
However, RFK Jr. has dispelled any concerns about his physical and mental abilities at age 70 with the AmericaMoves challenge. The project encourages participants to get up and be active for at least 24 minutes every day.

Following the challenge will help them start healthier habits for 2024 with the help of influencers such as Devon Levesque, the first human to endure a marathon crawl, and renowned physician and author Dr. Mark Hyman.
American Values 2024 also stated that the AmericaMoves project “has sparked a health revolution.” In their statement, they claimed RFK Jr.’s physical regimen. inspire fitness challenges.
As noted, Kennedy’s exercise regimen came after his competitor’s health concerns. Trump and Biden’s physical and mental fitness in the 2024 election contest has been questioned, with the former president criticized by GOP presidential rival Nikki Haley.
Trump was called out after he used Haley’s name instead of then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at a New Hampshire rally a few weeks earlier. However, the 77-year-old hit back at the criticism at another rally, saying: “My mind is stronger now than it was 25 years ago,” which is the exact age gap between him and Haley.
Trump also attacked Biden, questioning his mental and physical fitness. According to the former president, the 80-year-old had a shorter public appearance and needed help getting off the stage.
Biden has long been criticized for falling or tripping at public events and while on Air Force One. However, his campaign team continues to promote his return as president, saying the 2024 race “will not be about age.”
