Reynolds’ idea of a great father’s day is a vasectomy, only it’s something you drink, not something you cut. After giving birth to four children, Blake Lively probably wants to choose the last one, right?

Since Ryan Reynolds has an annual “Christmas sweater” tradition, it’s no wonder he decided to celebrate Father’s Day with a new ritual: a vasectomy. So, for Father’s Day, 2021, Reynolds celebrated with his fans with the “mother of all cocktails” which he decided to name “Vasectomy”, for no reason at all!
The video begins with Reynolds wearing an orange t, behind the counter telling viewers, “It’s Father’s Day. But if you don’t mind, we’ll celebrate with the Mother of all cocktails. Vasectomy.”
Technically, there is nothing related to vasectomy in the cocktail by starting with Reynolds filling a tall glass with ice, while comparing it to “the way children fill our lives with so much joy”, and then adding 1oz of cranberry juice, mouth ” sweet, just like their little smiles.”
Of course, there’s a healthy dose of humor in the video with Reynolds going a little dead in the eye every time he mentions the kids (he has three now), even calling them “little ones”. Since it’s a cocktail, he pours a Flight Gin, a bit too healthy, forcing the team to do another more measured take.
