Who Is Salley Carson’s Fiancé, Avery Buchholz?
Salley was presented to Bachelor nation as a career-oriented, deeply religious, adventurous, and family-oriented girl. She says she wants a man who is loyal, fun, and willing to give her a lot of attention because, why lie? But, before signing up for ‘The Bachelor’ season 26, Salley was reportedly supposed to marry her fiance Avery Buchholz. Reality Steve shared a photo of his bachelor party held a month before joining the show. However, the marriage was annulled and he went on to be a bachelor. The marriage registrar shared that they were supposed to get married on September 26, 2021.
Avery is currently an assistant professor of neurosurgery at the University of Virginia, as well as the state’s leading neurosurgeon. “Adult degenerative scoliosis, complex spinal modifications and minimally invasive spinal operations” are among his specialties.
Moreover, Avery attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin, where he received both a Doctor of Medicine and a Masters in Public Health after graduating summa cum laude from The Citadel in Charleston. After that, he completed his residency in neurosurgery at the Medical University of South Carolina.

The College of Medicine’s Senior Vice President of Sales also congratulated her for her new position at Mazor Robotics. There he worked as a member of the Spine and Brain team as a Clinical Sales Specialist.
He has completed the 6 week Spine Program.

He has been working in his current role for almost three years. In 2017, Salley also worked while he was a student at the Medical Sales College for four months.
Salley attended Medical Sales College for a year. He earned his bachelor’s degree from South Carolina-Columbia in 2017 while majoring in retail.

Salley Carson was born to her father David Brian Carson and mother Charlotte Smith White.
Not much is known about his father, however, his mother is a graduate of Gaston Day High School. For her college education, Charlotte attended the University of South Carolina – Columbia where she studied mathematics and Marketing. Charlotte used to work as a Math Teacher at Greenville County School. After that, he taught math at Wade Hampton High School and is now retired.
Salley’s parents divorced and her mother remarried.
Salley has three triplet sisters; Charlotte Bess Carson, Cynthia Clair Carson, and Elizabeth Brian Carson who were born on June 5, 1992. However, her grandmother Barbara Bess Carson’s obituary states that Elizabeth Brian Caron is deceased.
Speaking of her siblings, Cynthia Clair Carson is married to Kyle Smith. The family now lives in Greenville, South Carolina. He attended JL Mann High School and also attended the University of South Carolina – Columbia. He works at C Dan Joyner Property Management.
Charlotte, on the other hand, lives in Enterprise, Alabama. She married her husband Will Cox July 1, 2017. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and previously worked as a Kindergarten Teacher at Sterling School.
