On Wednesday, August 16, the 29-year-old actor filed for divorce from the Princess of Pop, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split in court documents obtained by The Blast. He listed July 28, 2023, as the breakup date, implying that the split had been going on for a while.

On Saturday afternoon, the “Special Ops: Lioness” actress took to her Instagram Stories to share three side-by-side photos. The first photo shows him wearing a gray wig, long mustache and glasses. The second photo features her wearing the brown curly wig and aviator sunglasses she wears in most of her Instagram photos. In the third photo, she is not wearing any glasses, but she is hiding her black hair under another brown wig.
“Help me choose [a] paparazzi disguise,” he wrote above the photo. This is the first time the actress has posted on social media since Thursday evening when she released a brief statement confirming the divorce.

On Thursday afternoon, the actress took to her Instagram Stories to leave a brief statement regarding the divorce. “After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” he wrote.
“We will hold on to the love and respect we have for each other and I wish him the best. Sh*t happened,” he continued. “Ask for privacy apparently [ridiculous] so I would just ask everyone including the media to be kind and considerate.”

On July 31, the 29-year-old actor revealed that he was taking a break from social media after his mother had a “major accident” that sent her to the emergency room.
“I am very grateful for the love and support you guys gave me while Mama Asghari recovered after the accident,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “Sending a huge thank you to the wonderful medical staff at Cedars-Sinai ER. Moments like this remind us of the value of life. Take a social media break to prioritize what really matters. See you soon.”

On Friday night, the “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer took to Instagram to announce her divorce from Sam Asghari for the first time. On Wednesday night, the day she filed for divorce, Britney posted on Instagram to announce that she plans to buy two horses, but did not discuss the split.
However, on Friday night, she finally broke her silence and admitted that she was “a bit shocked” by the divorce, but admitted that she was “hurt” for a while.
“As everyone knows, me and Hesam are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little surprised but … I’m not here to explain why because honestly it’s nobody’s business !!!
